I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by my lovely friend, Murr , to do a Q and A!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
THE RULES
1. Post these rules
2. Post 11 random things about yourself
3. Answer the questions provided by the one who tagged you
4. Create 11 new questions for the people you tag
5. Go to their blog and tell them they've been tagged!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Random Things About Me:
1. I don't ride roller coasters.
2. I hate the smell of beer & cigarettes.
3.I don't like candles that smell like food for example, cinnabons, cookie dough, pumpkin pie. I just like a clean scent. (Thank you Fabreeze for making Gain scent. It's my favorite)
4.I never forget to wear my seat belt and I don't let anyone not wear it.
5. I sang with Lauren Hill when I was 17.
6.I wish I got paid every time some one tells me I look like Hilary duff.
7. I hate when people leave a price tag on a gift.
8. I hate subliminal comments.
9. I still want a tree house.
10. I've never won anything!
11. I'm 3 years older than my husband.

11 Questions For You:
1. If you could cut one thing out of your daily routine, what would it be?
Trying to find what I'm going to wear. I get like that when I feel like I need to go shopping.

2. What's the best thing you ever ate?
I'm not sure. I do crave chipotle from time to time or Pei Wei. My two favorites.

3. How did you meet your spouse?
I met him at church. Before we met I was an inside joke with all his buds and apprently I was his wife. He didn't even know my name and he would always joke around that I was his wife. Then I met him, fell inlove with him and we got married! :)

4. If you were trapped alone on a remote island for 30 days, what three things would you bring?
A phone, a boat, and a map so I can get out of there :)

5. What's one trend you would love to stop seeing?
Mmmm... I'm sure there's a few I can list .I'll have to say, I hate trendy words.Especially when you're trying to have a real conversation with someone. It just comes off like you're trying too hard to be "cool". People who try too hard have no personality.

6. What's the story behind your name?
My dad named me Tamara, after an actress on a soap opera. My mom wanted to name me Crystal.
I like Tamara better. I also don't have a middle name.

7. Most listened to song at the moment?
Lately I've been listening to Brooke Fraser on my way to work.

8. If you could collect anything, or start a new collection, what would you collect?
Catherine holm cookware!

9. How do you like your coffee?
Iced, half & half .

10. What's your biggest pet-peeve?
People who come up with assumptions and have no facts and always believe their "feelings" are always right because some how they have a magic power reading minds and like manipulating situations just so they have control! It's disgusting to me.

11. What is one bit of marriage &/or parenting advice you would give to other women?
I've only been married for 3 months, I'm no expert but,
I've lived/seen many marriages fail or close to failing.
I would have to say, Keep God in the center of your marriage. Pray together, Laugh together, Talk about your goals, encourage your dreams together. Remind each other how much you mean to each other. Reminisce about good times and when you first met. Always remember that it's GOD, YOU and HIM in this marriage and not other people. Make it a goal to make it different from what you've seen, what you've heard or been through. Husband and wife should be best friends.
It's not a competition against each other, you're a team! together you're stronger.
Don't believe what this world has to say about marriage.
I believe we've been lied to about so many things. This world has shifted our minds to think marriage is a negative thing.
Don't let anyone tell you it's a just the honeymoon phase, things change, just wait a few years.
Instead, pray for those people.
God created marriage to be the most beautiful experience.
Trust in him and live each day trying to honor God in everything you do together.

And for whoever else, if you'd like to answer the questions I've asked, feel free! Take the questions and send a link back in the comments below so I can see your answers!

Now it's your turn! Anyone is welcome to do this Q & A!

H e l l o,

Here's a little update on what I've been up to.

1. I'm having a blast being married to this sweet stud!

2. I'm constantly on pinterest searching for inspiration for our home, what girl isn't, right?
I made some sunburst mirrors for our room .
Remember when I mentioned I have been wanting a mid century dining room SO SO bad!!?
Well, I found one on craigslist in our home town, where our parents live
( 2 hours away from Orlando FL)
I called my mom and I had her look at it and buy it for me! it was only $100.
It's been at my parents for a few weeks and I haven't been able to see it in person.
Josh and I didn't really have plans for valentines.
He usually has tuesdays off and I don't.
My sweet husband drove 2 hours away to pick it up for me.
I called him telling him I was heading home because I wasn't feeling good .
He kept asking me "How far are you? When did you leave? did you just walk out?" I was so confused why he was sort of freaking out, haha! he wasn't expecting me for another hour or so.

As soon as I drove up to the house, I see his mom's van.
Josh is outside with a grin on his face..
I was still so confused why his car wasn't there but his mom's van was and why he was waiting for me outside.
he just takes my hand and walks me inside to this!

A few weeks ago I went to a thrift store and fell inlove with these Samsonite luggage set.
I didn't buy them because I just felt like I didn't need them, I just wanted them. I got home and regretted it.
Boo! :(
So what did he do? he went back and bought them for me and surprised me with them for Valentines! ahh!
When I first saw them they weren't in the best shape, so it discouraged me from buying them.
The good news is, I gave them a good scrub and they look pretty darn good!
Don't you just love this print? it's so pretty! eeek!Little details in our dining room.
I'm amazed with the condition! We lucked out!
Oh! I met Chelsea Diane ! I've known this girl for 6-7 years? She's been my online pal for a long time. She had an opportunity to shoot a wedding in Florida and she drop by my job and we went out for lunch. It was so nice to have finally met her.

3. Now that I have a house of my own, I started my garden!
I'm starting out with Oregano, Lettuce, Green Onions, Cilantro.
4 things I really like to use when I'm cooking.
P.s Sorry for the lack of blog post.
It's been SO hard not having my camera :(
I've just been settling in this new chapter in my life and bonding with our home.
It's been sweet.
I serve a great God, I have a great husband, a good job, a great house.
I must admit though, lately I've just been bonding with my heating pad, ibuprofen and bengay! haha, I know I sound so old. I've been having really bad back pains.
Keep me in your prayers. I need some healing soon!
xo
I hope you all had a great Valentines and a wonderful weekend!
